Meet The Wig Designer

Lisa Rokicki is originally from Buffalo NY.  She has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Fredonia.  Shortly after graduating Lisa received her cosmetology license and began working with wigs and makeup for regional theatre in Buffalo.  In 2008 she made the long trip across the country to Denver, CO where she started the bulk of her wig making career.  She has built many full wigs one hair at a time for various opera and theatre productions in Denver, Chicago and Kansas City. Her career path took a turn when she moved to Phoenix in 2014 and started working in a local wig shop, mainly with cancer patients and has a strong passion for helping people with hair loss.

The halo wig was originally developed for a non-profit called Crowns of Courage that provides the halo wig to pediatric cancer patients at no cost to the families.  After several years of making the halo wig for Crowns of Courage it was discovered that there is a huge need for adults as well.  The Halo Wig Company was developed so anyone regardless of age or condition could have access to having a halo wig made for their hair loss needs.
