Halo wigs can be made using your own hair or donated hair from a friend or family member. If you do not have enough hair or any hair to send, no worries! You can still have a halo made with human hair extensions for an additional cost. The halo wig company accepts all hair textures and curl patterns and even pre-colored hair! The halo will work best with hair that is 10 inches or longer, and remember you will lose 1 inch in the process so plan on your halo length being 1 inch shorter than what you send in.

How to Cut Your Hair
* HAIR MUST BE CUT BEFORE STARTING CHEMO
If you should have any questions please contact us for help. After you have read through the instructions fill out the order form and send it in with your hair
1. Wash & dry your hair. Please only send dry, squeaky-clean hair.
2. Gather up the hair into small sections and create several ponies using small rubber bands. Make sure the bands are tight enough around the hair to keep the hair together after cutting.
3. Measure the length of the ponytails from the elastic band to the tips, making sure it is at least 9 inches long. There is no maximum length requirement.
4. Cut the hair just above the elastic band so that the elastic band remains on the ponytail after cutting and keeps cut hair together. Do not wash or style the ponytails in any way after they have been cut off.
5. Place the ponytails, kept intact with the elastic bands, in a zipper-lock bag and seal tightly. Please ensure that the ponytails are completely dry before sending.
6. Place the plastic bag with the ponytails in a padded or plastic envelope and send to:
